Sweet Treat Cosmetics- Review

Hi Loves!

Sweet Treats Cosmetics is a new indie mineral makeup cosmetics company that opened a few months ago, and is owned by the incredibly lovely Kaitlyn.  So far they have 18 mineral eyeshadows, 4 flavoured of lipglosses, and a rice powder finishing veil.

The shipping from Sweet Treats blew me away, by FAR the fastest shipping I have ever recieved from a company. My order came in two DAYS, when with most companies it is on average two WEEKS! Amazing right?
Their packaging, and labels are beyond adorable! You can definitely tell that Kaitlyn takes a lot of pride in what she does, and really cares about her customers. Everything came packed in an adorable cellophane bag with cupcakes all over it, and the word "SWEET" repeated across the top!
She also included a buisness card and super thoughtful note in the baggie. A huge plus about this company is that the ingredients are clearly visible on every product, and listed under every product on their website/facebook.
As for the products, I recieved 6 eyeshadow shades, 2 lipglosses, and a confecionary (rice) powder. I can honestly say I liked everything I recieved.
The lipglosses smell yummy enough to make you wanna eat them (although, unfortunately, it's probably not advised). They leave a super pretty, subtle wash of color & glitter on your lips, it's not super intense, but it also isn't clear. And thankfully they aren't sticky either, they are very smooth, when I first started using it I couldn't stop rubbing my lips together.
The mineral eyeshadows were fabulous. Super blendable, buildable, and when applied over a base all of the shimmer/undertones really pop. She has colors for everyone, a lot of lovely natural/pastel shades, and a couple brighter shades. And every color was loaded with gorgeous glitter.
As for the Confectionary Powder, it is a matte white finishing veil, made with rice powder. When I first opened the jar I was a bit concerned because it is packed with glitter, and I wasn't sure how I felt about having a glittery face, but once I tried it out I found that most of the glitter didn't stick & just fell off, which was fine with me. It made my skin super matte, and lasted all day. Excellent for setting dewy foundations.

The colors I received were:
Eyeshadows-
Cupcake: A bright, pretty magenta with a dash of red and pink glitter--inspired by my favorite things in the whole world, cupcakes! This color is not vegan and is not lip safe.

Mochi: A pastel, sparkly green with green and pink glitter. This color is not vegan and is not lip safe.

Buttercream: A pale, pinkish nude loaded with tons of shimmer! This color is not vegan and is not lip safe.

French Vanilla: A beautiful, shimmery white as sweet as sugar--perfect for highlighting. This color is vegan and is lip safe.

Blueberry Tart:  A softer, true blue packed with shimmer. This color is vegan, and is not lip safe.

Blue Raspberry: A deep, crisp blue packed with shimmer. This color is vegan, and is not lip safe!

Lip Glosses-
Strawberry: "A smooth, glittery lip gloss infused with lanolin and strawberry flavoring. This lip gloss will leave your lips feeling silky, but not sticky--and add a subtle hint of color, shimmer and a beautiful shine to your lips. This product is not vegan and is GLUTEN FREE!"

Red Velvet: "A smooth, glittery lip gloss infused with lanolin and the taste of red velvet cake. This lip gloss will leave your lips feeling silky, but not sticky--and add a subtle hint of color, shimmer and a beautiful shine to your lips. This product is not vegan and is GLUTEN FREE!"

The prices are very reasonable, and average for a mineral makeup company.
Lipgloss: $5  (5.9ml tube)
Eyeshadow sample: $1 (baggie)
Full sized jar of eyeshadow: $5  (5g jar)
Confectionary Powder: $7.50 (10g sifter jar)
